Hector, the owner and lead instructor at Guardsidium, brings an impressive background with over 20 years of experience in military and police training. His extensive credentials include certifications as an NRA Law Enforcement Pistol, Handgun, and Rifle Instructor, as well as a Tactical Shooter Instructor. He is also a certified Federal Firearms Instructor by FLETC, Maryland State Firearms Instructor, and both a Civilian and Armed Security Firearms Instructor in Washington DC.
Hector has further honed his expertise by completing prestigious programs such as the U.S. Secret Service training in Handgun and Instructional Techniques, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center’s advanced course for marksman training, the U.S. Park Police's Special Weapons and Tactics school, and the Metropolitan Police DC’s Crisis Intervention Training.

THis is a 2 Day class
In this multi-state concealed carrying 2-day course, you will receive the necessary training that will allow you to apply for a carry conceal license for Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, Arizona and Florida. Combined with these certifications, the licensee will be able to carry their registered handgun in 40 of the 50 states.

Maryland does not honor any other state’s concealed carry permit. This 2-day class offers the required training necessary to apply for the Maryland wear and carry permit. 23 states honor Maryland wear and carry permit: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan (resident only), Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Private Courses
$40 an hour (2 hour minimum). Range fees and ammo not included. This training is excellent for shooters who are struggling with accuracy. The first part of this training strongly focuses on the fundamentals of shooting by use of electronic equipment to target the problem area and then correct. The second part of this training is done at a live fire range and apply the new abilities that the shooter has unlocked.
